Karate Kid is one of the best American martial arts films of all time. Released in 1984, it tells the story of a bullied teenager who moves to California and learns martial arts from a handyman. The film features some great quotes, which are still remembered and quoted today. Its main character Daniel LaRusso is one of the best characters in a martial arts film. The Karate Kid is a big part of my childhood, and I have watched it countless times over the years. It was a fantastic inspiration for me to take up martial arts, and even now, as an adult, it still inspires me to do what’s right.
